Free Wellness Workshop
for Cancer Patients and their Carers
This is a remote movement-based workshop designed to support cancer patients, survivors, and carers in living well with and beyond cancer. Led by Dr. Morgan Farley, an accredited senior exercise physiologist.

All participants receive a set of 3 resistance bands to assist in taking part in the program.
All movements can be changed to suit your individual needs.
Over the six (6) weeks, you will:
- Learn the role of exercise after a cancer diagnosis
- Learn how and what types of exercise can reduce risks of recurrence
- Look at the COSA (Clinical Oncology Society of Australia) exercise guidelines - what they are and how to work to achieve them
- Learn how to exercise safely
- Discuss strategies and look at how to use movement/exercise to manage side effects.
- Find out how to get support with exercise
- Learn about how exercise can suppress cancer growth and improve treatment effectiveness
- Opportunity to find out more, complete assessments and set baseline goals
- Find out how to do different types of exercise such as pilates, mobility, impact loading for bones, balance training, strength training, or cardiovascular exercise
- Meet others, learn from each other
- Discuss goals and ways to overcome side effects like fatigue, neuropathy, bone loss, mental health or many others.
- Learn tips and tricks on how to bring better movement into your daily routine.s
