Refer a Patient
Our CanCare volunteers are able to provide a range of assistance & support for a person with cancer.
This support now includes more "one off" jobs, such as:
- Practical help – finding transport, food or medication deliveries
- Arranging for cleaning, gardening, jobs around the house or legal assistance
- Help finding other support services.
- General companionship, and getting out for shopping, errands, walks, or a coffee
- Information & our new ‘Building Bridges’ workshops
Through helping, with a focus on practical support, patients feel less isolated and are more engaged.
