The CanCare Navigation program provides patients in need with one-to-one support. Our volunteer Community Navigators support includes information, emotional support, and practical help.

Pays for transport costs for a patient who cannot drive or afford transport to get to the hospital for treatment.

Can provide help in the home, such as food preparation or cleaning, so important with the terrible side-effects of treatment.

Will pay for a full 2-day training program for one of our new CanCare Navigators like John, to support someone one-to-one.

CanCare Research supports medical-science research at the St George Cancer Centre. The work aims to develop targeted and personalised treatments. Targeted therapies have less risk, fewer side effects and a greater impact on cancer. The Centre is also investigating cancer ‘biomarkers’, which make it possible to detect cancers with low survival rates, such ovarian, much earlier. For cancers such as ovarian, early detection can more than double the survival rate.

All donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible. The receipt is issued by email on confirmed payment.
