Ashleigh Simrajh sadly lost her battle with melanoma after experiencing the joyous occasion of getting married in recent weeks. Her high profile public battle due to the launching of legal action against the two doctors who mis-diagnosed her condition, has served to raise awareness to others to safeguard against melanoma with Ashleigh urging people to get every lump checked out.  Ashleigh’s delayed diagnosis from first discovering the lump on her thigh 3 years ago, meant it was beyond treatment and had spread to her lungs and lymph nodes.
